incorporated in the US in 1996 and is currently a leading provider of information access and content analysis software solutions

The product offerings can be split into visualization and linguistic products. The company has so far focused on the US market,
but in late 2000 began to expand into Europe. It has an office in London and will soon have a presence in Munich. InXight
currently has over 140 customers and employs approx. 150 people.

Lugano in Switzerland, Nemerix SA was founded by four
individuals who were previously founders and executives of TCHIP
SA. Nemerix SA is a fabless semiconductor company specialising in
low power RF technology which has developed IP and is completing
the development of a chipset with software for the rapidly
expanding GPS market. This technology is required for mobile
phones (in particular the e911 initiative), the automotive sector,
transport and PDAs and the recreational market.

IRM AG was founded in
1998 by former employees of Landis & Gyr where they had been
developing forecasting, planning and optimization solutions for
utilities already for many years. Integriertes Ressourcen
Management AG (IRM) has developed a software solution to enable
the whole electricity procurement and optimization process for the
resellers/distributors in the electricity market. The IRM software
modules contain trading (contract- and risk-management),
optimization (planning and optimization) and forecasting
(forecasting and scenario building). Besides the procurement
solution resellers need to invest into energy data management and
billing solutions.

are enabling rich media (audio, video, print and pictures) content

production and utilization process of rich media efficiently. The
RMAM system is integrated on top of the utilized hardware and does
connect to plenty of individual applications used in the specific
environment (e.g. scheduling tools or indexing tools).

privately held US-German company developing and manufacturing
Advanced Transponder Subsystems for the next generation
telecommunications systems in the DWDM, SONET/SDH, ATM and IP
area. Through its world-class R&D operation based in
Nuremberg, Germany CoreOptics is developing ultra high-speed
optical networking solutions and will provide system manufacturers
differentiating solutions for their next generation systems.

Xignal Technologies AG
(Unterhaching, Germany) is a world leader in the development of
high performance analog and mixed signal solutions for
Systems-on-Chip integration. Allowing for cost-effective,
mixed-signal designs in Silicon that rival the performance of
exotic materials such as Gallium Arsenide or Silicon Germanium,
the company's Intellectual Property (IP)-Platform is optimized for
easy design integration. Xignal's technology solutions are
expected to play an important role in the next-generation
System-on-Chip (SOC) designs solutions, especially for the
wireline communications market.

Locanis AG a
specialist for intelligent warehouse management systems. Its
solutions focus on pallet identification, localisation and
tracking, as well as the optimisation of logistical routing and
navigation for closed warehouses and external storage areas.
Locanis' primary product "G-Track" is a unique patented
solution for automised tracking of products and pallets in
warehouses and external storage areas with extreme positioning
accuracy, without requiring capital intensive infrastructure such
as induction paths. The system also provides warehouse management
data for identifying fork lift vehicles and their exact
positioning, as well as vehicle drive time and velocity and the
complete detailed analysis of warehouse content. Locanis offers
turn-key implementation of the required hardware and software
systems, which can be implemented in most existing warehouse
structures. The intelligent vehicle tracking and routing lead to
significantly reduced warehousing costs and increased efficiency.
Locanis customers were able to significantly reduce the number of
fork lift vehicles and personnel in their warehouses.
